Go! Create your own World

Hello people! It’s Lib here, I am often accused of living in my own little world, possibly because it’s a tad more fun than the real world sometimes but how cool would it be if you really could  create your own little world?

So todays food for thought is exactly that! Create your own little world and tell me all about it! Who would you have as leader? What currency would you have? Where would be your holiday hotspot? I know you what mine would be so come on, tell me about your Eutopia.

What a great image….
What would my world like…. that is little why I blog I create a little retreat for myself each day with every post. However the real own world out here…. I would be leader…. My world my rules, no money straight barter system…. you have something I need, I owe you what you need ….. If you have chickens and I need eggs then I might agree to give 1 lettace a week through the growing season. Visitors welcome but no guns, drugs, alcohol, etc….No corparate developement, anti environment anything,
And only person selected and approved could remain permanently…. by invitation only….. no holiday hotspots because the whole place would be one beautiful place… hmmmmmm
Sound a bit like my house…lol

WELCOME LIB! GREAT JOB….

The irony is we can create our own world, yup!

During our time in the Spa we watched - ‘What the bleep do we know?’

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7dhztBnpxg&feature=related

The folks in the clip are the best minds on the planet - the lady is actually chanelling through another spirit, yup!

You can create your own reality in the 5 inch gap between you ears!

I thought it was 6 inches Jim… Welcome Lib… :) and it is an awesome pic and a great first post :)

I have some friends who have been to Ramtha’s school of Enlightment… the spirit channeling through J Z Knight so I get to watch many DVD’s of his teachings and quite enjoy them. “What the Bleep down the Rabbit Hole” goes on at home at least every couple of months… a 5 DVD set which contains over 15 hours of footage!

I am a bit of a trekky fan so in my ideal world, I would travel on a spaceship to heaps of different planets meeting weird and wonderful new species. There is no money system but a barter system between the planets. A replicator machine which can produce the most delectable food and drinks anyone can imagine. A holographic room which can be set for a tropical island, the snow slopes, or any club, restaurant, theater and also produce a man on demand with the characteristics that I want!!

How does that sound?

In our ideal world, part of it at least, there is no leader as we have the freedom to just be, our currency is hugs (before or after naked twister) and our holiday hotspot is enjoying each and every moment with utter content….

Oh and lots of flowers, plus scatterings of autumn leaves and air so crisp it takes your breath away.

Oodles of blue sky above. Always a bonus. Oh and an open fire to chew the fat around after a muddy walk.

wow, what a tough question. in my ideal world, there are less people, lots of trees and flowers, and work is done by machines to leave humans free to dwell on their passions and interests :)

So who makes the machines, services them, updates the function of them, etc?
You my friend, need a lot of technical people. Engineers may seem pedantic but we are a necessary evil. If we all sat around contemplating our navel then very soon nothing would work, people then begin to regress. People would go hungry and anarchy, crime and murder would soon be rife.

Maybe Fred West or Charles Manson - now they’re evil!

I’m with you on some of the Trekkie gadgets especially the food replicator. I also like the way wars and disputes are all settled in 60 minutes too.

I’m also in favour of bartering. I’m in the process of making a book for a chap who lives in the States who contacted me on my blog. He is going to frame one of his photographs for me in payment.

Great idea! I just cannot decide how much to charge for my books and this is the perfect solution to the problem. He’s happy, I’m happy and no awkward conversations about cash!

I’m sorry, Bo, if you thought I was subjecting you to a bit of gratuitous self promotion but I was actually agreeing with Ange’s earlier comment where she mentioned Star Trek and bartering.
I didn’t put my comment in the correct place so apologies if it distracted from your comment. I suppose in your ideal world my books (oops sorry I mentioned them again) would cost nothing! :)

Guys Lib doesn’t have a blog of her own and we’ve linked her back to GO! Smell the flowers! From time to time Lib, you may find bloggers do mention content that appears on their blog that can enhance a discussion and you can either check their links out or not, as you see fit. You are right to step in as its your post but you want the girls to post comments on your threads again if the topics interest them.

We’d encourage founders to get to know each other anyway - as you are now - its the SPAM trying to push erectile dysfunction pills onto moi, Jim that we tend to pass over…stiff upper lip and all that! We’re up to 12,500 SPAM comments to date and we’ll probably post about this topic soon.

Anyway, who’s going to buy $$$ of flowers today? LOL Lib and funnily enough this discussion thread does form part of our current Eutopia - the founders getting to know each other!

Group hug?

No problem whatsoever with peoples blogs, it would be a tad hypocritical if I was seeing as I am now a founder of one but sometimes there is a little bit too much ‘product’ placement shall we say so i have too say something.

I still love everyone!

It’s all good Lib (buy flowers, buy flowers) and its key that other bloggers can get involved wherever (Buy flowers, buy flowers, buy flowers) and we reckon within 5 years most people will be generatiing some form of online (buy flowers, buy flowers) income.

ON average, Amazon proved this, for an online sale to happen people need reminded 7 times! Some of our bloggers and founders do need to remind others what their ‘thing’ is.

Granted there is a balance and you can call the shots within your posts so it’s all good.

Buy

Flowers.

Hi Libby

At the same time as sending those flowers, perhaps send them a book or two. I can think of quite a few of us who have books …..

Are you sure??

Ace first post Lib

My world would be one where you could ‘chastise’ the missus without the police getting involved.

And dwarves would be exterminated.

Vegetarians would be force fed meat- or shot.

New age ‘methods’ and their practitioners would either have to be proved or the practitioners would be shot.

The currency would be baby seal eyes.

I would lead in a dictator stylee.

More as I get it- good topic though,………..

Seriously Gary, the woman in the ‘what the bleep do we know clip’ was chanelling her answers, we dont doubt or believe either way, but she just spills out wisdom throughout the film called ‘ What the bleep do we know’ - its as much Quantum Physics than ’spirituality’ but its is starting to amount to the same thing in terms of the film.

Mine would be no bills, no stress of having to earn money and just being. Everyone would love each other and there would only be happiness and laughter!

That’s a great first post Libby-girl, KIU!

In Bridget’s world, men would do the cooking and ironing (and everything else that needs to get done around the house)!

Timid drivers would be banned from Dubai roads.

Beautiful and witty chicks like Bridget would get their diaries written and published in no time and thus proceed to buy their dream Ferrari (and their pet tortoise - NOT turtle!) before they reach seventy!

Oh, and guys wouldn’t need a signal like the bat sign outside Gotham city. Ha!

You can wear what you want and always look amazing.
You can spend what you want and never run out of money and
You can fall in love with who you want and always get loved back (and they are always amazingly fit)
