Ohayo gozaimasu/Konnichiwa
July 4th, 2008 by Gareth inThailandI really like Japan as a place to visit and I’m lukcy enough to go there about 6 times a year on average. Everything works, the place is spotless, the people are great, super polite and the food is fantastic, especially okonomiyaki in Hiroshima and crab sashimi in Nagoya.
One thing I love there is the gizmo’s, gadget’s and strange trends. Some of the things you find are awesome and some just plain daft but all bring a smile to my face.
The latest one, apparently, is for ladies to wear printed skirts like the ones shown below.
I hope and pray they don’t catch on with the fellas though.
So readers, would you wear something like this seriously for a standard day around the house/work/town?

Wait for it, I can almost hear the response now: “I just knew you would make some puerile remark like that F Fish, my stash is filled artistic images that are really clever just like me.”
(I don’t think it is quite as succinct second time around GIT, and I had the urge to snigger quite a bit last time, but you know how things tend to be funny just at the right moment)

indeed, not a pompous arse. Wasn’t he a goalkeeper or at least narrowed down to one of the team who likes to ‘play at the back’

And anyway the ones shown wouldn’t quite go with my brown skin.

Ha ha,funny,i looked at the pics and thought they were c thru skirts.I wouldn’t stretch that far for fashion,Gareth have you still got those chino’s with the a**e cut out?
Why bother wearing a skirt! They come up with some rather “interesting” fashion ideas. You won’t find any of those skirts in my wardrobe! Too weird.
