Go On be open to awareness

June 28th, 2008 by aussiecynic

These are fictional Childrens Book Titles.

I wondering, how long it will before we see titles like this on the shelves of our book stores.

Given the presence of the Social Awareness Groups and the acceptance of new and interesting lifestyles in the Western world.

Would you read these to your kids? there are more at Aussie Cynic ( Pagan should appreciate them)

With the openess of our societies these days and the push for more and more exceptance of alternative life styles is it only a matter of time?

And What’s Next?

Mommy and Daddy are not married.
Daddy makes funny smelling stuff in the kitchen and sells it.
(Sometimes the house may blow up)

I have already seen I have two daddys or two mommys.

LOL Noddy and the magic powder cover….

Not being parents but well remembering the different things that kids find ‘funny’ compared to ‘adults’. A cosmetic company recently pulled an advert to two gay man kissing advertising skin creams to avoid parents having to explain to junior what two men were doing kissing.

Who knows how the kids would have reacted?

it is funny the way they interprete things… and explanation can be hard… just think sometimes things can be taken far…
you should have seen the ones I left out.. :)

Oh, a new where do babies come from. Sheesh, so many methods.

I don’t know who my Daddy is because he is in a bank?

I was made in a lab.

I have two Mommys and no Daddy. Where Did I Come From?

My Daddy and my Mommy put me in some other Mommy?

I’m not too clever at titles, but you get the idea.

Kind of reminds me about Sex & The City when Carrie mentioned to Mr Big’s ex-wife about how she wants to write a children’s book about a child who has a cigarette..

No, these are parody books. Joke titles due to changes in society. We are supposed to come up with funny ones that really aren’t written, but that could be or maybe a bit crude.
