GO! Make this Video GO Around the World

June 14th, 2008 by angesbiz

This video has come across my path a few times in the last few days from different sources so I thought it about time that I share it. Do you think it will make a difference to how the United Nations conducts itself? Watch as 12 year old Severn Suzuki tells it like it is to the UN about Global Warming, Poverty and Hunger around the world and asks what they are going to do about it?

You will find it at Make this Video GO Around the World and admin may want to embed it for me.

Hey Ange Great post and video was inspiring
I do find ironic that the same things apply now even though the speech was from 1992 and she is David Suzuki and Tara Cullis’s Daughter.
I find it outstanding the speech she made, the impact the speech had and abhorrent the results … not a thing changed.
She has continued the fight and the organisations she works with and the lessons she teaches will go along away to educating but unless we all do our bit once again nothing will change…
Why dont you digg the submittion or I can …. but it would spread the word

What a speech at 12, what an adult now. Makes you wonder if anyone really listens or goes, “okay that was great,” and then just continues their adgenda because that is always what they have done. Just one little tweak in the system could have a whole cascading effect on so much.

WOW Ange - she speaks with such conviction and passion way beyond her years!

A shame noone as accountable to reply to the video - maybe Bono could reply to her in a song?

**We’ll ask Deep if the youtube issue has been fixed yet for all to embed the code when they post and let you know***
