Sometimes I feel super lucky…and last week was one of those weeks! I won two contests on the internet. Though the prizes were small, I was so excited! (I won my awesome 22 inch widescreen monitor about 7 months ago online too!!) It makes you feel special and you want to cheer. So what were the prizes you ask? A Supernatural graphix book signed by Eric Kripke (he is the creator of Supernatural or something like that) and someone else (hee hee) and then I won a t-shirt with a monkey on it. I need some shirts! It’s summer time here and the long sleeve shirts won’t cut it anymore!
Have you won any contests? Please tell…I would love to hear what the biggest prize won has been.

I did win 19.20 on the lotto about 6months ago and was so excited it sounds silly but that was the first time I won something since I won a raffle when I turned 18… oh I did win $104 on Keno about 15 years ago.. but not a big winner here.. although I am trying….
I won a gold fish at the ‘grabby fish’ stall, North Shields’ May Day Fairground 1999.
Well I’ve never won anything online but do you mind my asking how did you win the book autographed by Eric Kripke? I’d love to win that book! The man is an evil genius.
It was a contest at a Supernatural site…I was really lucky to win it…I can’t wait to see the book…

I won Best Inflatable at the weekend at an Hawaiian/Inflatable fancy dress party. It was a 6ft inflatable palm tree. Genius I thought.
Yet to get my prize though, apparently they are ‘working on it’ whatever that means.

I won it by leaving a comment on a blog (that’s how I’ve won most of my prizes)…with my work I go to alot of blogs…and that’s why I guess I win so much stuff. I think the worse thing I won was a blog review…and the guy kept calling me a guy! And the post was full of words that were spelt wrong. Funny, I didn’t get any traffic from it.

The last thing I won was when I was about seven years old…it was a trivial pursuit game….felt good to win. I don’t enter many contest so i can’t say that I’m not lucky…..you got to be in it to win it right???
I won 45 bucks in some american football tournament pool thing.
Yes…I won “Shortest Guy in my High School Graduating Class.”

Hmmm…I’m not good at winning anything. But, most recently I was honored to be awarded the Flower Smellers badge!!! That felt good. I usually don’t win, but I earn things. I’d liked to win though.

Yes, it was the highlight of my week along with giving it to five others one of which was having a really bad week and it helped. I also have moved the badge to the top of my page. I like it better there. It adds a bit of cheer to a site that is so dark, content wise.

I used to say, I never win anything. But, this last year I won a $260 handbag from Harvey’s, Seatbelt Bag Purse. Sorry to find out what that is you will need to go to my blog. They are featured toward the end of the left side. I was so excited to win it that I felt like a fool I was in shock. I did not know what to do…you know, deer in headlights look!!!

Hi Taylor - well as we didn’t win the eurovision song contest (again) - probably because our country doesn’t border a balkan state!! i’d like to remember when we did win it with a song rather than who our neighbours were and (cue clip) remember Bucks Fizz - now there was a group who cold make their minds up.
