Roughly a couple of hours a day. If I’m ‘in the office’ I’m hooked up 8 hours for e-mails. Typically I check news on the BBC first thing before leaving for work, then circa 45 mins doing bloggish stuff like Twitter, Blogcatalog, Stumble, Digg etc… If ‘working from home’ then I dip on-line every couple of hours for 15 mins or so. This is one of those 15 mins :) Usually part of my brain is ‘on-line’ 24/7 wondering how to grow my readership base…any flower analogies welcome.

Cheers Reasonable Robinson…

The best way to increase your readership is to, at first, feature other blogs at your site.

A great place to start.

Christ on a helicopter. What kind of name is that, ‘Reasonable Robinson’?

When I was working, anywhere from zero to 10 hours at the computer. Everything was done through the network, but you could work offline. But, when they needed to take my computer, I discovered all I could do was telephone calls which could take all day, but no where to document them. Everything eventually had to be put into the computer.

Now, that I’m not working. I can spend 8 hours looking up stuff, blogging, social blogging, responding/sending emails, shopping, playing games, journaling…and on and on. But, when it has been out of commission, it was difficult at first, but I always have stuff I can do for fun or household stuff. I am never bored with or without a computer. But, it is a significant link for socializing especially since my church has everything done via emails.

Do you remember the telephone or hand writing letters?

Jim & Em Says:

Well clueless - as hand written letter makes our hands ache - seriously! It’s been that long - AND - we rarely remember phone numbers now - it’s all there for us to see.

Must be all that Thai colonic stuff that’s made you achy and forgetful. Next time try pigging out.

A few hours per day…I cut back on my time online a few months back, being that I was losing hours of my day surfing online. I got lost in the online world and forgot that there was a real live world just outside my door …lol :)

I am online all day everyday, a lot of my applications are Intranet based so have to have it open.

Certain sites are banned such as Facebook but unbelievably you can still get on to Ebay.

I haven’t tried porn yet.
