Go! Smell the best bit about my breakfast this morning..

The best bit about my breakfast this morning - ahead of a hectic day?? I had a bowl of fruit n’ fibre.

The great thing about this cereal is that the raisins are heavier than the rest of the fruit pieces so they all sink to the bottom of the bowl and you get a big spoonful of them right at the end.

What small thing have you found enjoyment in today? And what do you think it will be tomorrow? Mine won’t be fruit n’ fibre as I used the last of it this morning! boo-hoo!

Don’t laugh, but to someone with chronic constipation that takes medication twice a day for it…I was happy to finally have a bowel movement. After the colonic series, we now can say anything about the topic as far as I’m concerned!!! I don’t need more fiber or anything…the medication has been a lifesaver and it has been out less than a year or about a year, so they will eventually discover it will kill me until then I’m a happy camper. By the way, I can’t stand raisins, but put blueberries in it now we are talking

Yaaayy for your bowel movement Something Just!!!

Jim & Em Says:

It gets our vote something - gotta keep regular as the bowels are often the root of all dis-ease…

Says us with the bright clean colons.

Yum.

This site is a go to everyday…makes me smile or think!

Oh, I could not sleep and woke up at 3:00 am, and was doing Internet stuff. Then, it the darkness I heard the birds wake up and pleasantly chirpping.

Thats the whole point Clinically Clueless!

And I agree with you about the birds, I am seldom awake at that time in the morning but I do like waking up to them.

Purple13 Says:

My Scouting mate used to describe it as being up ‘at sparrow fart’!

Poor, poor Zoe.

And your daughter, and your cats and your goldfish, I will even go as far to say the lettuces in your garden.

I am gonna say one thing that will make you scold me:

“I don’t eat breakfast, or if I eat breakfast I don’t eat lunch.”

I dont eat Breakfast or lunch … hmmm…
I am as regular as clockwork… normally
I decided I had better start on the health kick of eating in the morning to get my system moving for the day following all the experts advice..
So for the past few days have suffered my own form of Clonic irrigation….
not pleasent..
Perhaps my Body was having a fire sale
EVERYTHING MUST GO! because I tell you everything did….
so back to the normal eating late in the day…

The three meals a day, I think I only eat dinner..

aussiecynic Says:

thats me…
the occasional snack but not often… and generally not because I am hungry mostly because its there and calling to me eat me.. lol..

Purple13 Says:

There are times when i eat because I think i ought to (i’ll suffer later if i don’t kinda thoughts) and times when i eat because i’m hungry and need food. As long as you’re happy and eat things you like, then when you eat is kinda irrelevant - as long as its right for you and you’re happy with that.

Jim & Em Says:

Hi Purple,

Jim here and as we’re back in Dubai my highlight was eating my first cooked food in 10 days after still sticking to light raw foods after that fast as my colon got used to taking food back ‘on board’.

So, the highlight - coming second in a golf tournament in 36 degree C heat having touched down at 3am Friday morning to tee-off at 10.20 in Dubai after 3 hours sleep….

Must have been the law of atttraction?

2nd highlight was the veggie omelet with a side salad I ate ever so slowly (would normally have brown toast wolfed down in seconds) -Anyway it tasted great!!

Gareth in China Says:

Todays highlight was finding a St Germaine CD I thought I’d lost and then spending 2 hours listening to it sitting in the sun, smooth Jazz grooves - Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

Purple13 Says:

See GIC gets it - just a little ‘victory’ that made the day so much better - more bearable, more enjoyable - whatever.

I’ve just splashed out on a £10 wash and valet for my very dirty car we have birds nesting all around us and the car had more bird droppings than paint on it) - smashing job - looks a million dollars and looking forward to a nice drive out somewhere later to enjoy.

Simple Zack Says:

Don’t you mean fiber? Just kidding I like the spelling version, “fibre” better.

Purple13 Says:

OMG! I had to check - and it is spelt fibre on the box. Whatever else, you can’t say this blogs not educational. Mind you these cereal companies will for-go the queens english at any opportunity if it interferes with a marketing message.

Gareth In China Says:

British versus American spelling. I can normally tell what nationality the English teacher was who taught my Chinese staff (those that know English, as only about 20% do) by their spelling.
It never fails to make them scratch their heads and wonder how I know. Maybe one day I’ll tell them how I perform this ‘miraculous’ feat.
