Bush Baby

I sometimes feel like this poor bushbaby! All I wanna do is show everyone that I am sad…but instead I get all smiley and happy!

What do you do when you are sad?

It sounds ironic but I feel that my happiness is slipping away from me and I no longer feel happy for these few days..

i find children a great antidote for feeling sad.

Failing that i.e no children around, then i always remember the end to Star Trek 2 movie when their leaving the new genesis planet and Kirk says he feel’s young again. James Horner’s score sweeps over you and you feel kinda hopeful for tomorrow. Works for me anyway.

Snap out of it - in the great scheme of things, I have nothing to be sad about.

there is a lot of sad going around and here I thought it was just me…
So many people appear to be sad at the moment… even before the events of the past days and week… I dont know … but it everywhere…
I just yell alot, then shut myself away until it passes…

I slip into the well of self-pity and drown for a while…when I’ve had enough of that I do what I can to improve my mood…..
Something that always comes to mind when feeling down is……
“move a muscle…change a thought”

Well since I have Major Depression, which is not the same as sadness, I have difficulty feeling sad. I usually try not to cry and numb myself out and hide it from everyone including myself…I know not very healthy, but I guess that is part of the reason that I have Major Depression. Reading this website often makes me smile!!

I too try to hid it, but I look for things that make me smile my husband, the internet, my blog, connect with someone whether it is face to face, telephone or electronic means. Sharing when I am sad is the best thing!! That picture is sad and cute!!!!

I go for long walks around the parks of London or stay at home and listen to some music.

And sometimes, I go to a squash court and knock the stuffing out of a squash ball. I soon feel better :-)
