GO! Smell the spring Renaissance!

April 25th, 2008 by Jim & Em

GO! Smell the flowers is proud to announce that Covent Garden (London, UK) will become a symbol of spring regeneration as renowned floral sculptor Preston Bailey comes to the UK for the first time ever to create a giant living flower installation in the iconic Piazza.

Constructed from living plants and flowers and featuring voluptuous stems and oversized foliage, the floral sculpture will form the cornerstone of Covent Garden’s Spring Renaissance – a seasonal month-long programme that will see Covent Garden create a collection of events to celebrate its heritage as the UK’s original flower market.

Spring Renaissance will strengthen Covent Garden’s growing reputation as one of London’s most exciting public spaces. Building upon its history of combining entertainment with the best shopping, bars and restaurants, Spring Renaissance continues Covent Garden’s evolution to becoming a ‘must visit’ destination for Londoners and tourists alike.

We’ve included the Spring Renaissance flyer in this blog post and ask what flower smelling caption would you insert in the caption space to inspire others? Do Tell!

“Come to Birmingham”

Why is it always London? Expensive to visit, miles from many of us and nasty polluted air - not my idea of a good time i’m afraid.

I know this is going to go into moderation because of the embedded file, but dudes … this is hysterical.
I don’t EVEN KNOW where to begin with this. Here’s the top five:

1. What’s the World Coming To?
2. What happens in Covent Garden, doesn’t necessarily STAY in Covent Garden!
3. Bring a Hoe!
4. You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
5. We have no idea what the fairy is doing with the frog’s tongue.

Rufus’s last blog post..I’m not ph**ked up, I’m just complicated.
