Go! Tell about yourself

April 7th, 2008 by Simple Zack

Zack here,

I’ve gotten to know a few of you here at Flowers fairly well, but I think more can be told. Here’s a little more about me:

I love to play sports (any sport really), especially golf and soccer, but I never watch professional sports. In fact, I never watch television. I’m finishing sophomore year at a university and really like tea. I play guitar, piano, and the ukulele.

I felt like putting this picture here, because Steve Urkel was great. I also love hiking, camping, and volunteering.

So, now that I rambled on about myself, tell me about you and your flower smelling characteristics!

Certainly not. But I can see how you’d notice a resemblance. That’s the sort of pose Cosby would strike for a photo.

LOL Zack, Jim here and I guess you know a reasonable amount about Em and I but here’s a bit more:

Em used to be a school teacher, the worked for the British Embassy in Dubai, then sold exhibition space for a conference company - when I saw her I bought some exhibition space and the rest is history!

Em is from Devon is the UK - I’m from the North West.
Coffee sends me off the radar and mega-hyper - I’m banned from drinking it!
I’m a qualified Civil Engineer, diver, soccer coach and life coach.
Em has just passed her life coaching exams and got the results last night - she called me from Barcelona on her leadership retreat and rather than celebrate the group have been instructed to go into TOTAL SILENCE FOR 24 HOURS - thats gotta hurt!

its an old technique called

‘the course tutors have run out of happy clappy stuff to do so are just listening to their i-pods all day instead’

its retro-active bi-cerebral stimulation …….. erm or something

Nice site! Just found you. Wonderful. I too am a NO TV person, almost all my life…by choice. I play piano, Native American courting flute, some guitar and touch of harmonica…dream or hear music in my head - can’t read it. I love nature photography…getting into it now. My biggest love is nature. I’ve lived a lot of my adult life in the wild and even grew up in rural Maine. My best times are spent outdoors, hiking canoeing, camping, swimming, whatever. I also like doing pottery or working with melted glass. I better stop here before I write an essay as I am also a writer. Thanks. : )

If you listen to Bridget I’m a romantic, if you listen to Fish I’m a big headed exploiter of the weak and obsessed with myself to the point of living in a mirrored box.
What I actaully am is a Chartered Mechnical Engineer by trade but I am one of the directors of a large automotive supply firm making interior products - seats, Instrument panels, consoles, door liners, headliners and some electronic items like clusters.
I’ve been to about 37 countries, lived in5 of them and currently i’m in the North East of China in a city called Changchun and have been for the past 4 years.
I swim and row regularly to keep fit as there is no Rugby played here, if there was then I’d be playing every chance I got. I get married in 18 days. I have been known to have the odd drink and herbal cigarette, I don’t suffer fools easily but I’m getting better.

Yeah yeah, Bridget this, Fish that, then he goes on to vindicate my perspective:

Just how many times do you plan on telling us you are a director of a large firm, big guy?

Total self obsession.

Unlike you, complete self satisfaction. Glad your obsession with me hasn’t waned.
If you want to stalk me and complete the whole obsessive disorder I’m 800km North East of Beijing. Taxis are cheap here so you can easily support yourself stalking for some time.

Between myself and my neighbour we own some accommodation in Tasmania ( that is why I haven’t bee around for a while - the other half has gone away and I am busy very busy) I like to drink hot chocolate or tea at AC’s house, and I love my white wine! Phew have I missed anything???

I think the kids and the dog would kill me if I cooked it!!! As AC stated the duck as we discovered only a little while ago is actually a girl - (yep not a boy as we first thought) has grown quite attached to the dog and hates the fact that my beloved pooch won’t share her food!!!

She also sits at the gate and waits for us to arrive home - it is quite a sight one dog waiting and very close behind her is the duck!!!

So if I was to cook her I would be shot!!!!

Well, as I’ve already started posting comments on later topics I guess I should give up some of my secrets..

I’m 42, married (again) to a wonderful woman, 2 step-children.
I live just south-west of London UK and work at Heathrow Airport terminal 5.
Oh yeah, 2 cats (one is a rescue) and a puppy.

Oh yeah, I was born and raised in Scotland, living in England and my wife and kids are American., so we are a right old mixed bag.

Well, I’ve been camping and enjoyed it on ocassion. However, I really prefer to spent time in the luxury state park lodge down the road.

I am a writer just recently graduated last April. I like animals, love dogs especially, but can bond with just about anything including the live clams my parent once brought home to make for dinner.

I also like gardening and dream of owning a home one day with a nice big back yard for my garden.

Despite my love of gardens I’m not a big fan of veggies, but do love mexican food and am always up for a quick trip to Taco Bell.
